I visited Prague this winter doing research for a play I’m writing that reimagines the legend of the Golem. Jonas met me in the morning and we spent 3 hours together walking the various Jewish sites of Old Prague. These 3 hours were the highlight of my time in this magnificent city. Jonas has a depth and breadth of knowledge of both Jewish and Czech history. His command of English is impressive and our conversation flowed freely between history, present day life, culture and personal perspective. Anyone who is interested in the vast and fascinating history of the magical city of Prague would be wise to take a walking tour with Jonas.

My wife and I and our two son aged 19 and 21 went on the jewish walking tour with Yonash. All 4 of us felt this was one of the best tours we have done. Yonash is extremely passionate about the subjects which was felt by the entire tour. His knowledge is brilliant and the tour fascinating. I highly recommend this tour to everyone. Brilliant.

My wife and I went on Wittmann's tour of the Jewish quarter, and it was outstanding! It was just the two of us, led by our guide Yonash. Yonash just finished his first year as a doctoral candidate in theology, and he has a deep knowledge of Jewish history, rabbinic literature (Talmud, midrash, mysticism, and all sorts of other helpful topics for a Prague tour of the Jewish quarter). It's material that he's passionate about, and you can tell. Yonash has a kind and patient demeanor and did not rush us around like a lot of other tours of Prague. This tour was definitely the highlight of our trip, so thank you Yonash (and Wittmann Tours, of course!) for a great experience!
